At the age of 14, Susanne Williams was told that her kidneys were failing. In the 1950’s, living with kidney disease was challenging as not everybody had the opportunity to receive dialysis treatment – there were only four dialysis machines in South Australia at the time. Dialyzing for over 5 decades is certainly no walk in the park. And yet Sue, today 66 years old, still looks back positively on her journey with dialysis and continues to go through life with a smile.
